ROBBIE ROGERS ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

Kenter Canyon has had the luxury of having Mrs. Robbie Rogers as its School Administrative Assistant for several years.   Mrs. Rogers has announced her plans to retire effective June 30, 2010.   That courteous, warm smile that has greeted so many parents, students, and staff members for over twenty years will be replaced with a newly assigned SAA.   On behalf of all students, parents, and staff our sincere gratitude is extended to Mrs. Rogers for your love, passion, or dedication to Kenter.   You'll be missed.   We hope your retirement brings you even more happiness and joy that you afforded to so many at Kenter throughout your years of service to our school.  

KENTER PRINCIPAL SUMMER READING "BOOK REPORT" PROGRAM

All Kenter students in grades 1-4 as well as incoming Kindergarten students are encouraged to read throughout the summer and create book reports for their readings.  On September 13-16, students may submit their favorite book report for recognition with the Kenter Writing Award.  The recipient of this award will be honored at Back-to-School Night.   Click here for more information!

IN-N-OUT WELCOME BACK PICNIC - SEPTEMBER 20

Kenter Canyon community will have its Annual Welcome Back Picnic on Monday, September 20 on the North Yard.  The In-N-Out truck will be there to provide meals or you can bring your own.  Please be reminded that you must pre-order your In-N-Out meals using Welcome Back Picnic Pre-Order Form.   The picnic is a great way to network with returning and new families as well as meet your child's teacher and other staff members.  It's always well attended and a lot of fun.    Order forms may be deliverd to the school when the office reopens in the fall.  Please do not mail them as we do not receive mail during summer months.  Orders must be prepaid and submitted no later than September 7.  Click here for the form.

KENTER SCHOOL OFFICE REOPENS FOLLOWING SUMMER BREAK ON AUGUST 23, 2010

For parents who need to enroll their children in school, the office will re-open at noon on Monday, August 23, 2010.   Office hours will be from 9:00a.m. - 3:00 p.m. beginning August 24..    Kenter School is closed September 6-10, 2010 due to employee furlough days and holidays..    Please click here for the website "registration" link for required documents or go to >About Kenter, School Registration.

2010-2011 CLASS ASSIGNMENTS

At the bottom of the 2009-2010 final report card, the teaches wrote a 4 digit code near the space that indicates your child's next grade level.  On September 12, the class assignments will be released on-line.   Parents can go to www.kentercanyon.org, click on 2010-2011 Class-Teacher Assignments, and look for your child's grade level.  Under the grade level column, parents can locate their child's 4-digit code to access the classroom number and teacher for the 2010-2011 school year.   For newly enrolled and kindergarten students, you will receive your notifcation via US Mail or email (if it's on file with us).  Class assignments will also be posted in the Kindergarten Yard for kindergarten students and on the South Yard for grades 1-5 students on the monring of Monday, September 13, 2010.   Families enrolling as "new" students will receive their assignments via US Mail.
