2ND ANNUAL KENTER CANYON
THURSDAY, APRIL 28 2016
WHAT IS THE COYOTE PROWL?
The Coyote Prowl is a spirited, school-wide event that involves all students walking or running laps around the South Yard for pledges. Students are encouraged to collect monetary pledges for their participation in the Coyote Prowl. The pledges they collect is their promise to do their best on the big day, on Thursday, April 28.
This is a fun way to help our school simply by exercising! 100% of the funds that we’ll raise will benefit
Kenter Canyon, and will support all of our enrichment programs, as well as our classroom aides.
Last year, we raised over $25,000 and that’s something to be proud of!
HOW CAN I COLLECT PLEDGES?
1- To get started, parents MUST go HERE and check off the box for their student(s) permission.
Also, you will find a sample letter that you can use to email friends and relatives to ask for pledges HERE.

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?
In keeping with our Kenter spirit, not only is the Coyote Prowl about raising money for our own school, but also about giving back to our community. Once again, we are holding a shoe drive for Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization that distributes or refurbishes used shoes for those in need. So please donate your used shoes for this great cause! Last year, we collected over 500 pairs of shoes, and we hope that we can collect even more this year. Collection boxes will be placed in the hallway across form the library from now until the day of our Coyote Prowl on Thursday, April 28th.
